Indian Economic Trade Organization led the delegation to discuss the possibilities of collaboration in digital economy and education opportunities with African commonwealth countries.
The mandate of the India Africa Commonwealth grouping will work towards the promotion of the interest of the African bloc of the Commonwealth of Nations with the Indian private sector.
The IETO led initiative champions sustainable development, economic prosperity, security, and good governance across Commonwealth countries in Africa. The grouping works to achieve this mission by working in partnership with the Commonwealth and African governments, public and private institutions, businesses, civil society organizations as well as other regional and international development partners.
The Embassy of Sierra Leone also accredited to India in Abu Dhabi led by Ambassador H.E. Rashid Sesay has supported the initiative and taking the lead in building up such a relationship for promoting and strengthening economic diplomacy.
